About Surf City, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Surf City is located on Topsail Island in Pender and Onslow counties, just off the southeastern coast of North Carolina. Situated midway between the cities of Jacksonville and Wilmington, Surf City is presently home to a year-round population of approximately 2,000 residents who enjoy the beautiful beaches and moderate seasonal climate that graces the region with pleasant weather year-round.
Nestled between the North Carolina Intracoastal Waterway and Atlantic Ocean, Surf City is home to an abundance of recreational opportunities, not the least of which are its pristine white sandy beaches that run the length of the twenty-six mile barrier island. Other popular pursuits include surfing, fishing, golfing, kayaking, bike riding, miniature golf, and water sports of all kinds.
Surf City’s most recognizable landmark is the Surf City Ocean Pier, a 937-foot fishing pier that features great fishing, a fully stocked bait & tackle shop, fish cleaning stations, live wells, plenty of lighting for night fishing, and a grill that not only makes great burgers, but will cook your catch after a good day of fishing on the pier!
Access to Surf City is via the high-rise bridge (NC State Route 210) on the north end of the island and the landmark swing bridge (NC State Route 50) that leads directly into the heart of the city from the mainland.
Regardless of whether you are a resident or just visiting, you will find ample opportunity for recreation and entertainment year-round in Surf City!
