About Wallace, NC - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The town of Wallace is located in Duplin County, North Carolina, approximately forty miles north of the city of Wilmington.  Originally incorporated as Duplin Roads, the town was renamed in honor of Atlantic Coast Line Railroad president Stephen D. Wallace and incorporated as the town of Wallace in 1899.  Present day Wallace is home to a population of approximately 3,800 residents who enjoy the moderate humid subtropical climate that graces the region with hot humid summers, mild winters, and lovely weather during spring and fall.

As Duplin County’s largest town, Wallace serves as a retail and commercial hub for more than 50,000 people living in the surrounding three county area.  Its convenient proximity to Interstate 40 and US Highway 117, along with low taxes and transportation amenities courtesy of Henderson Field Airport, continues to attract new business and industry to the area.

Wallace is home to a variety of cultural and recreational opportunities provided through the combined efforts of the Wallace Parks & Recreation Department, Wallace Downtown Revitalization Association, Thelma Dingus Bryant Library, and Duplin County Arts Council.  Programs and activities are provided year-round at the Wanoca Outdoor Amphitheater and the Campbell Center located on the grounds of Clement Park.

Wallace’s warm, friendly community, growing economy, and abundant recreational opportunities make it a great place for residents and visitors alike!
