Leland is located in Brunswick County, North Carolina, approximately six miles northwest of the city of Wilmington. Initially incorporated in 1989 with a population of 1,800, Leland is presently home to more than 13,000 residents and continues to be one of Southeastern North Carolina’s fastest growing cities.
